MPI WAY OILS
PERFORMANCE AND APPLICATIONMPI WAY OILS are used for lubrication of relatively slow machine tool slideway components. These oils contain sulfur-phosphorous extreme pressure (EP) additive with oiliness additives to prevent stick slip on machine tool ways. Tackiness additive is added to these oils for drippage and to impede runoff. These lubricants provide excellent rust and corrosion protection and coolant separation.
MPI WAY OILS can be used in both open and enclosed gear applications, and are especially useful where leakage is a concern. These oils are recommended for use in all types of gear sets where tacky, industrial extreme pressure lubricant is required. They are also ideal for bearing lubrication where reduced leakage is desired. These oils are non-staining and may be used in worm gears, except for those applications where the manufacturer specifically warns against the use of active sulfur-phosphorous EP gear oil.
